 This medical transcription placement class is the most popular option for students who wish to be trained and then hired immediately after graduation. 

Med Workshops is pleased to offer the Training Steps Class.  This is a Special Employer Placement class that comes with Job Placement upon graduation or your tuition is refunded.  We have been offering this special program occasionally since 1996. 

NOTICE: 6/30/10 - Training Steps is open for registration. We have 20 openings for the July classes.  This class hasn't been available since 2009 and will certainly fill quickly!

Online Computer Technology for Medical Transcription
 

This class teaches you to save and name files voice files, upload and download MT, how to store encrypted files on your computer, how to make and name folders, create transcription "shortcuts", customize your keyboard and toolbar for transcription and how to make more money in less time.

After finishing Online Computer Tech, the Student will be prepared for Mentored Internship.  

Mentored Internship. 

No education in medical transcription is complete without Internship.  Training Steps' Internship is approximately 6 weeks of full-time training.  Internship completes your education and gets you hired immediately.  You will mentor with a professional transcriptionist(s) and you are required to complete the work promptly.  You will quickly learn to produce work at a 95% accuracy level (industry standard).  You have graduated from Training Steps upon administrative acceptance of your work.  You are then ready to go to work full or part-time from home.
